When you use Menio we may collect account details you provide (name, email), information needed to complete an order or payment, and basic usage and device data that helps the app work and improve. If you allow it, we use your approximate location to show places near you.

To operate core features — discovery, table ordering, payments, reviews and rewards — to keep the service secure, to provide support, and to understand how Menio is used so we can make it better. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Signing in with Google is optional — an email and password works just as well. If you choose it, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us, and we use them for a single purpose: creating your Menio account and recognizing you when you return. We never receive your Google password, and we request access to no other Google service or data. This information is never sold and never used for advertising; it is handled exactly like the account details covered by the rest of this policy. You can disconnect Menio from your Google Account at any time, or delete your Menio account to remove the data altogether.

We share the minimum necessary with the restaurants you order from and with trusted service providers (for example, payment processors and cloud hosting) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements. We may disclose information where required by law.

You can access, correct or delete your account data, withdraw location permission, and opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Contact us and we'll help — deleting your account removes your personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

Menio is provided for discovering venues and ordering at the table you are physically visiting. You agree to use it lawfully, to keep your account secure, and not to misuse the service. Orders and payments are between you and the venue; Menio facilitates the transaction and is not the seller of food or drink.

Restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of their menus, prices, allergen information and availability. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

Menio is provided "as is" during early access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. We may update these terms as the product evolves; we'll post the date above and, for material changes, let you know in-app.

The city lists used in Menio are derived in part from the GeoNames geographical database (geonames.org), used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.
